Klaus Klöker









Klaus Klöker, born in 1963, studied in Bremen from 1988 to 1993 and subsequently completed his legal education in the OLG district of Oldenburg. Prior to this, he had completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk from 1984 to 1987. After having been admitted to the bar association in 1997, Mr Klöker first worked in a law firm in Oldenburg; from 2001 to mid-2020 he then worked in Bremen in a law firm specialising in insolvency law, and since 2011 as a specialist lawyer for insolvency law.

Mr Klöker's area of specialization is commercial law in the restructuring process, in particular insolvency and the restructuring law for companies. He has many years of experience in advising medium-sized companies on how to avoid insolvency. In addition, his main areas of expertise also include advising managing directors and entrepreneurs during insolvency proceedings, in particular the preparation and implementation of self-administration and protective shielding procedures and the preparation of insolvency plans. A further focus of his activities is the representation in and out of court in the defence of rescission claims under the Insolvency Act as well as the defence of managing directors' liability claims.
