Michael Bönninghaus

Michael Bönninghaus, born 1968 in Hamm/Westfalen, did his studies and legal traineeship in Bochum, where he already gained practice in a law firm, before having been admitted to the bar association in 2000. Prior to his move to Bremen in 2007 Mr Bönninghaus worked as a lawyer in Bochum and Unna from 2000 to 2007.

Mr Bönninghaus is an expert in civil law, in particular contract law, as well as corporate law. He has worked on various M&A projects, typically in teamwork with other colleagues specialized in corporate law. In addition, Mr Bönninghaus is the firm’s contact person for B2B contracts, in particular in IT law. Moreover, Mr Bönninghaus represents well-known insurance companies as well as small and medium-sized companies in court relating to claims persuant to insurance law.  

Mr Bönninghaus speaks fluent business English.
