Christian Lühring

Lawyer

Christian Lühring, born in 1966, studied in Bremen and Münster and completed his legal traineeship in the Higher Regional Court district of Oldenburg. As part of his training, Mr Lühring worked for six months in England in a major international law firm. Subsequently, Mr Lühring worked as an in-house lawyer in a German industrial company before settling as a lawyer in 1998.

Mr Lühring’s areas of expertise are national and international commercial and corporate law, both in and out of court. Due to his strong commercial background, Mr. Lühring tries to achieve dispute-avoiding solutions in his advice. Another focus in corporate law has been the management of M&A projects for many years, regularly in a team with the firm’s other corporate lawyers.

Finally, in recent years antitrust law has become increasingly relevant for the firm, but especially for Mr. Lühring. In this area, the firm is involved in the civil enforcement or defence of antitrust claims for damages. In the context of prevention, Mr Lühring has for many years assisted clients from a wide range of industries in the introduction and updating of compliance systems.

Due to constantly changing, increasingly also international, requirements for companies as well as their owners and management, this area has in the meantime also gained considerable importance for medium-sized companies and requires constant updating. In this respect, Mr. Lühring pursues the goal of implementing these changing requirements to an appropriate and adequate extent for medium-sized businesses.

Mr Lühring speaks English.
